Accessing Network Drives

By default, all users should have access to the network drives (N, S, V, etc.) and you should see it by going to This PC on your computer. But every now and then access to network drives gets lost, and you will need to re-add the drives to your computer. To do this, you will need run the Network Drives script. Follow the instructions below:

  1. If you are working out of the office, please ensure that you are connected to Wiley X VPN first
  2. Download the Network_Drives_Script.bat below this article
  3. Once saved, navigate to where it is downloaded. It is likely in your Downloads folder. You may copy it and save it to your desktop for ease of use.
  4. Double-click to run the script. A black box should appear for a second and then disappear.
  5. Afterwards, check This PC to see if the drives are added. Done!
  6. If you see this message below, click on More Info and then Run Anyways (This is a Windows security box)

NOTE: After running the script, the drives should add themselves permanently the next time you log in. For additional help, please submit a support request.
