How to Follow Sites and Accessing Them on SharePoint

Another way to access SharePoint sites is to first follow the site. This allows you to go to SharePoint and view the list of sites on left pane. To follow a site, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the SharePoint site you want to follow
  2. On the top right, click on Not Following. Once you click on it, the star icon will be filled in and it will say Following


  3. Now go to portal.office.com and click on the SharePoint icon on the left
  4. On the left, you will now see the sites you are following. Simply click on the site you want to access
